I’ve used the same one for years, and it still does wonders. Nice colors, very portable, the end result is very soft looking on paper, and very good for its price!! I genuinely like using this more than my Sakura Koi watercolorsRevised review after thinking about it.....Disappointed in shipping without any padding. Was not packed with care. Colors were not vibrant as pictured. I teach art. I have this brand in my classroom and like it.I did appreciate they tried to meet shipping promise.I have updated my previous review to be less critical because I do like Prang products. I felt disappointed in the way the product arrived but I would buy Prang again, perhaps not from here. After thought......perhaps it was unfair about the melted part because we have just gone through an unusually roasting hot period of time that may have contributed to the melted look of some of the pans.No one can control super hot or super cold extremes in weather.Price, lots of colors, good when travelingVibrant colors, doesnt wrinkle non-water color paper no matter how much water/paint you use, blends well and easy to get use to and gain methods would recommend this to anyone starting water colorsGreat product, but definitely not worth the money to use "just for fun." Can stick with $1 Crayola for our needs with close enough qualityAfter 10 year break from watercolors I decided to give them a chance again. Could not find my old Windsor & Newton and decided to buy cheaper, kids grade paints. Out of three sets I bought; Prang did significantly best job. I was actually surprised how great they did. Colors are strong, mix well, they do behave like true watercolors. Strongly recommend. Once I practice a little I will upgrade to Windsor & Newton. This set is definitely my favorite to use with my older elementary students I'm an art reqcgee, I have tested different watercolor pan sets and this one is one of the best I have ever tried for that price. It's a very good student grade set.Professional artist 30 years. I have no idea when they remodeled the case, but the two long trays which hold the replaceable paint pots slide around freely in the box. It is hard to get paint on your brush while the tray runs away.EXCELLENT paint since I was a child !!! Nice consistency and VERY good pigment concentration. (UN-like less expensive paints which only cover transparently and are too hard to dissolve enough to get in the paint brush).I've been sticking to this particular set for over 2 years now. The pigment in the colors are really nice and clear, and vibrant (when you want them to be) and the colors don't ever come out 'muddy'. I found out about it from a artist called @tamaytka (she's amazing go check her out on yt and ig), and I've been using them ever since and refuse to use any other brand. I probably sound like a crazy person but tbh i just really like it.These were recommended by an artist on YouTube. The colours are really good and as they are semi moist very easy to use. These are now my go to watercolours.I’m am relatively new to watercolour painting and have used other brand’s and not been happy with the results and was thinking of giving up. I saw a YouTube demonstration using these paints and the results were impressive so I thought I’d give them a try. So happy I did the colours are easy to mix and give excellent results. Only negative was they took 4 weeks to come. These were recommended to be used in a school project - I had never heard of them before. The depth of colour is vivid. The paints move on the paper well and every child loved to use them. However they have a soft texture and they soften very easily so that they are used up quickly. This is my only criticism. If you are buying for one child there would be no problem - just don't use much water !These colours are very good however I am dissatisfied that the postage cost almost as much as the product! If there is any way to reduce this postage I would order more.
