The Escoda Kolinsky brushes are good quality and fairly priced. They are aard to find, this vendor is very reliable, the brush arrived fast, well packaged and at an incredible good price. I’ll will use this vendor again.The wood is firm and substantial unlike another brand I bought. The hair is perfect and this brush performs well.These were all delivered the same day. On the left 6 Escoda brushes from Jerry’s Artarama, on the right the one Escoda from Speedball. No pieces of the brush were in the box. This is the 2nd brush I order from Speedball and their second fail. The first one was a frayed, but not horribly. So, I just snipped a dozen hairs and it seems ok. No I don’t work for Jerry’s. I’m just an artist working really hard to reach for excellence. Speedball you going to make this right or should I just go spend another 25 dollars at Jerry’s and get the brush delivered in a usable condition? It won’t let me give 0 stars or that is what you would have gotten.I bought this because it's kolinsky sable at an insane price and it said it was good for watercolors (it is). The only difference between this brush and a traditional watercolor brush is the super long handle which sort of drives me crazy because it's sticking out way further than my other brushes.
